I apologise that this is a long post, you have been warned! This week the Dezinaworld image sheet I am focusing on is Winter Warmers. This is one of June’s newer image sheets and is available for $2
On first viewing Winter Warmers you might view it as a sheet for Christmas cards/tags, if you are starting your preparations for Christmas 2012 then this would be perfect but the images would also be lovely on a card for someone with a winter birthday. Sometimes we forget that Christmas may have passed but we are still in the middle of winter!
This is such a beautiful image of the two girls snuggled together against the snow.
Layered onto lace with scraps of paper, crochet lace, a shabby bow and snowflake charm.
This lady is so elegant, layering onto a tag with lace and other bits ‘n’ pieces. The vintage velvet ribbon has turned a strange colour in the photograph as it is actually a dusky rose pink.
The following three are little thank you notecards I made for family members to thank them for Christmas gifts. They all adopt a much cleaner look to them, simply embellishing with scrap of paper, stamped tissue paper and buttons that remind me of snowflakes.
The stamp, Winter Morning is from Oxford Impressions’ Winter Snow plate.
Scraps of lace and flat back pearls were also added.
As you can see, I certainly made good use of this image sheet and definitely plan on using for my Christmas 2012 projects.
Thanks for taking the time to visiting.
Wishes
Lynne

Gorgeous images and tonnes of scope to play around with them. You did a fabulous job as always. You asked about the icicles , I’m afraid I am not talented enough I have the Silhouette electronic die cutting machine which cut them for me and cut out the sled .
