All Her Eggs Were In One Basket

Hello
As today is the start of the Easter weekend I thought it was about time I shared a fabric hanging I made for Oxford Impressions’ DT artwork using stamps from Easter Bunny Collection plate. This time it is one of the little girls who is the focal. This hanging (the base alone) is approx 11″.
The cotton was  dyed as I wanted specific colours, pastel but with an aged appearance to them.  I used  cotton fabric (re-cycling curtain lining), also dying  seam binding, gimp and vintage lace.
Alongside the girl I used 5 other stamps from this plate.Birds nesting at the topA little chick stands guard over the basket of eggs.Butterflies scattered here and thereAs time is running out I will tag on this flag/banner I made which uses the same little girl stamp. On this I made use again (stamped onto the shabby tag on the hanging) of the lovely text stamp (a vintage advertisement), Easter (from Happy Easter), butterfly and the little girl.I am linking this to Beverly’s Pink Saturday where not only can we share pink but also anything related to Easter.
Thank You for taking the time to visit.
Wishes & A Happy Easter
Lynne

Simply beautiful. The colour you dyed the fabric is lovely and the lace just finishes them off nicely.

Lovely piece, really gorgeous. I had all my eggs in my basket when I came home from shopping yesterday, and after having to brake rather suddenly, had all my eggs in the car…..Valerie
