She Shall Go To The Summer Ball (CI Challenge)

Hello Everyone
This scheduled post is to tell you about the  Crafty Individuals Challenge . If you are a fan of CI then you will know that the challenges are now bi-monthly and if you are a fan of the challenges you have probably been eagerly awaiting the announcement of a new challenge theme over at Jean’s Blog.  For June the theme  is A Summer’s Ball. You can submit any nature of artwork for the challenge but please remember to include at least one Crafty Individuals product on your entry.
With circumstances being what they have been I was unable to make anything for the challenge but as I was organising artwork to e-mail to Jean it struck me that this particular card could possibly fit the theme. Making the suggesting to Jean she agreed so here is my sample for the challenge which I didn’t make for the challenge …. if any of that makes sense!
Crafty Individuals Supplies
CI-346
CI-182
The focal is one of the newest stamp releases CI-346, stamped onto Melissa Francis paper. An outsize satin bow is detailed with crystal drops, the hexagonal I discovered on E-bay from a gem of a woman. For the background I painted artist canvas sheet with Pompadour Blue (emulsion paint) then stamped and embossed in white CI-182.                          I have a big thank you to Alison for sending me some die-cuts, the gold embossed cardstock was a perfect accent for the lady. Over at Jean’s Blog you will see the inspirational samples from some of the CI team and all rules for entry for this challenge.
Happy Stamping!
Lynne
