Hello
Sorry that I am staggering the photographs of what I received for my birthday but otherwise the posts would be far too long.
Here are just some of the crafty goodies I received from friends.
My lovely friend Debbie (Debbie Did It) sent me a fabulous gift, a pack of Distress Markers, cannot wait to try these out! She included so many goodies (image sheet, cameo stickers, tassel maker, and so much more) including those gorgeous vintage doilies, she said when she spied them she knew they had to be for me. Such a perfect collection of gifts from her. From Jack, a replica vintage ephemera pack, a bundle of lace trims and also the gift from the heart that is shown later in this post. From my lovely pal, Darlene (Dar’s Blog), vintage papers, floral embellishment and Artchix image. Another lovely friend, Gisele (Supersnooks) wrapped her card in a crochet table mat for me to make use of and buttons from Nicki.
Now to share what my lovely friend in Germany, Martina sent to me.
Isn’t the detail stunning! In the centre of the canvas is a shabby chic painted metal heart. The number doesn’t relate to my age it is purely a piece of artful embellishment.
Martina, I am so lucky to have another piece of your art in my home.
I shared above the gifts Jack sent but I also received a handmade gift. Jack always takes the trouble to do this.
I had to lol at the note Jack included describing the scene to me as she sat knitting her first pair of fingerless gloves with needles sticking out of everywhere, apparently even in her hair (!) as she worked with 4 pairs of needles. She said, this was her first pair of fingerless gloves and they would be her last lol.
I cannot believe she would take such effort to make these for me.
Not photographed but from other friends who do not blog I received a Character Construction set of stamps, a box of specialist paints (including stencils), crafting bits ‘n’ pieces (all from my dear friend Doli, a woman with an abundance of talent and she really should have a blog!) and a set of Chapel Road stamps from another stamping friend.
Yes, my home is bursting at the seams!!!
I am nearly at the end of sharing the gifts/cards I received with what should be one more post to share another time.
Thank you for visiting today. I am managing to find a little bit more time to come on-line but I am having issues with accessing my Blog at the moment (via Google Chrome) and also experiencing problems trying to leave comments on some blogs. Not sure if it is an overall problem with GC or if it is connected with my Blog.
Wishes

It is funny as in blogland age is even less relevant than it is in “normal” life.
I absolutely love the canvas.
