Those Summer Days Spent In The Garden (FSC#28)

Hello Everyone
It is that time when I can announce a new theme at Fashionable Stamping Challenge. For the next fortnight we are asking you to create Summer/Ice Cream Colours artwork. As always we embrace all styles of art but please remember that we are passionate about stamping at FSC and are looking for you to include  stamping on your entry. We have a wonderful prize up for grabs as always and you can find details of this along with rules of entry over at FSC where you will also be able to see the  amazingly inspirational DT samples from my DT sisters.
Stamps:-
Oxford Impressions:- Le Jardin
and The Fairest Flower
Apologies for this being such a long post.My DT sample started life many weeks ago as a tag. When I had my Oxford Impressions’ Le Jardin set out for the Nature   challenge I also made a tag at the same time. The tag was then stored away and forgotten about until I read Ice Cream colours and that little lightbulb lit up over my head!  However I wanted a play so decided to use the tag as a spring board.
A Crafty Individuals Shabby Tag was stained and stamped before layering vintage book text, lace, etc.  I painted the femme with H20s.The mailer was painted and stamped repeatedly. The shabby bow, picot edged ribbon and pink lace were all dyed with the same colour.  I had been dying various items with tea and realised the pink colour was perfect for Ice Cream colour theme. Now we open the mailer. Stamped labels tucked inside a pocket alongside a pretty vintage playing card.We look forward to seeing your Summer/Ice Cream Colours artwork.
Thank you for taking the time to visit, all your visits are appreciated by me.
Wishes
Lynne
