Country Chic (Winter Issue Take Ten)

Hello Everyone
Thank You for popping on over to visit this post, a post where I am re-winding to December when I learnt that a collection of cards I had submitted to Take Ten had not only been published but that one of those cards made the cover, definitely a pinch me moment!
I have two Features in this issue all with Oxford Impressions stamps but for today I will share what Take Ten titled as the Country Chic cards,  five cards which all used Oxford Impressions’ Le Jardin set, here are some of those cards. A mention to Maria. When I won one of Maria’s Giveaways it included some beautiful fabric and I knew the style of the fabric would work with the Le Jardin stamps, using scraps here and there. All of the cards worked to a Variation on a Theme style where I made use of  scraps, dried flowers, shipping tags, etc. On each card a lot has been added yet as I only made use of tiny bits ‘n’ pieces and left a plan background the result isn’t too overcrowded. Knowing a submission is published is always a buzz but what makes it all the more special is when you share the pages with friends. In this issue my lovely friends Darlene and Marjie also saw their cards in print. Congratulations both, I zoomed in on your cards even before I read your names!
This is a scheduled post but I plan on catching-up with your creations soon enough as I have no doubt you have all been busy in your creative spaces.
