Hello Everyone
Are you having a lovely weekend, finding enough creative time?
This is a post where I’d like to share some more gifts I received from artful friends.
All of those friends are very well known in Blogland but if you haven’t visited their blogs before then you really should do so as they are creating the most exquisite art.
From my sweet friend Dorthe, this beautiful angel (which came wrapped so beautifully in Kraft style paper, twine and wooden hearts). Look at adorable face and the way Dorthe has fashioned a dress from lace and then there is the sparkle on her wings. Dorthe, you already know how much I adore the angel and that she will be treasured.
The lovely Lynn (Stevens @ Trash to Treasure Blog) gifted this beautifully festive tag which has one of my all time favourite stamps on it
and wait until you lay your eyes upon this mitten she created, oh my goodness when I opened the parcel to see this tucked inside I was speechless. Isn’t it so full of vintage charm?
Not only did she create this mitten but nestled inside are vintage Christmas items that Lynn included for me to use in my artwork but as I said to her, I don’t think I could bring myself to use them as they are so lovely the way they are presented in the mitten.
Then to another lovely friend, Marie (Lost Bird Studio). Marie always makes the sweetest of tags and this tag is no different and beside it the gorgeous lace she sent to me.
Not only that as she also gifted one of her soldered charms. As I’ve proclaimed before now, Marie has stolen the soldering crown from Sally Jean Alexander and can you believe, this amazing woman actually soldered this charm with a cast on her pinky!
It is always a delight to receive a charm from Marie, they become such treasures (the one I received for my birthday I wear as a pendant). The star charm is a sweet addition.
So thank you, Dorthe, Lynn and Marie for such special gifts from the heart and gifts that you know I will treasure. Each creation has your own individual stamp upon it, depicting your unique styles and charm which makes them all the more special.
Another day I will share another post with more festive gifts I received from more lovely friends.
In the meantime thank you for visiting this post.
Wishes
Lynne
