Give Thanks Part III

Hello Everyone
This is the final post where I share the beautiful creations gifted to me at Christmas.  I have included links so if any of the names are new to you why not visit their beautiful blogs to view their incredibly art.
I will say in advance that this is a lengthy post.
From the lovely  Dorthe I have two stunning creations.  A fabric collage that is so soft to the touch and light as a feather.  Dorthe has made beautiful use of the lady from Oxford Impressions’ Dr Coffin’s Apothecary.birthdaycards 9161-001The second piece from Dorthe is this incredibly sweet dressform.  Aren’t all those details so adorable?DIGITAL CAMERAFrom the lovely Maria I received such a personal gift but first I will share the elegant card I received.  I have to tell you that the stamped image is incredibly crisp and dense which is sometimes difficult to achieve with stamps such as this. DIGITAL CAMERAThe reason I say the gift is so personal, Maria actually remembered that at one time I mentioned how I am a Bookworm. DIGITAL CAMERAA most elegant bookmark with a stamp from one of my all time favourite stamp sets and look at that gloriously luxuriant tassel. Not only that, the fabric it rests upon Maria gifted to me along with those divine lace trims. Wait though as I have something else to show you. Now turn the bookmark over and you will see DIGITAL CAMERAsuch a thoughtful detail, to stamp my initial onto the back of the bookmark.
From the lovely Terry this wonderfully nostalgic card (isn’t that a stunning stamp?) and also lace, burlap and tulle. DIGITAL CAMERATucked inside the Giveaway prize from sweet Suzy she had sent this beautiful stamped  card with of course Suzy’s outstanding touches of fabric and stitches. DIGITAL CAMERAFrom the lovely Alison this incredible card. Now I have to say that this card has to be seen to truly appreciate the jewel like colours. DIGITAL CAMERAThe final gift to share is from Martina. She gifted to me this beautiful card and ornament.  Isn’t it glorious?DIGITAL CAMERANot only does this post hopefully display the incredible and varied art styles from my friends and their amazing generosity but also once again the incredible community we are lucky to be part of when we start on this blogging journey and how we connect with like minded friends from all corners of the world. In this post alone there is Dorthe from Denmark, Maria and Alison from England, Terry from America, Suzy from Australia and Martina from Germany all sending their artwork to myself, here in Scotland. Without this blogging community I never would have the privilege of connecting with any of them.
Thank You to each of you for the treasures you have gifted to me and the warmth from your hearts and thank you to all of you who stayed with me until the end of this post, sorry for it being so lengthy!
Wishes
Lynne

Such beautiful gifts Lynne, Terry’s stamp was my favourite all time Christmas stamp with which I did my cards this last Christmas too. Each gift is so special in it’s own way and yes you do have some wonderfully talented, kind and generous friends, they obviously value your friendship a great deal. A really lovely post Lynne.
