A touch of lace

Normally templates are not something I use but when the Template Challenge in Stampers’ Sampler (available from The Stamp Attic) was a corset,  I knew I could have fun. So I created 5 corsets which I formed into a fan.  Although I posted the submission I had little hope of it ever being selected for printing.  You can imagine how thrilled I was whilst flicking through the recent issue, to see that my corset fan was selected.

The notecard below uses the same corset template. I am definitely more open minded as to the use of templates and I am sure, one day I will make another corset fan. It is the perfect excuse to use lace and flowers …. actually, do I ever need an excuse?!

The stamped images are Oxford Impressions’ Le Beau Monde. My first play with this set which I was lucky enough to receive as a Christmas gift. I sense some completely over the top cards being made with this collection of stamps!

Well done, you!! Not that I’m surprised, lol – you were bound to be published, all things taken into consideration and especially by Stampington 🙂 Maybe you need to submit to the other mags they do… he, he.

There’s a corset template in the group files, btw – we did a group swap once – maybe that’s an idea for one of our next swaps. Love what you’ve done 🙂
