Little Cherubs

LTD Distress A Tag
Our Vintage Affair Vintage Tag
As Christmas preparation is on my mind at the moment, as well as digging out Christmas stamps I have also been on the look out for vintage images to use on cards, tags, etc.  When I worked on the Image Transfer for “Golden Child” I also made Image Transfers of the following images.
Tag 1 – unable to source
Tag 2 –
provided by the lovely Marie at Lost Bird Studio
Tag 3- Tuscan Rose cd rom

Using standard tags, Nos 1 and 3 I applied a Rose Pink Walnut stain followed by antique gold acrylic (using baby wipe to distress the colour). All tags were stamped with “Winter Morning” sheet music stamp. Abraded edges with scissors. Used Image Transfer for all images, I applied a small amount of Gesso and gold paint before adhering to sheet music.
Added any bits and pieces lying about.
For this tag I sponged  Tattered Rose onto tag and stamped “Winter Morning” with Victorian Velvet. Swiped gold paint on edges.

How gorgeous these are, such fabulous colors!
(You will never guess, but the lady at the Post Office didn’t know what ‘Scotland’ was in French!! I told her that it belonged to England, Wales, Ireland etc., so she crossed it through on the envelope and put ‘Grand Bretagne’ on it in black pen!! She said it would never arrive otherwise!) So this is to let you know that I posted the card and a little surprise.

These are all so very beautiful, Lynne. They are distressed, but the girls look very alive…and doesn’t gold paint give pieces a lift?

These are sooooo stunning, Lynne. My favorite is the last one with the cute little angel….You’re pretty good with that scissors and distressing the edges;) Wish you lived closer so we could get together for a play day.
