Christmas Angel

My second project for Scrolls Work Stamps once again uses Lady Flourish Silhouette #1. As with the tag I created in my first project (attached to an upcycled brown bag), once again I have used this stamp to create a Christmas project. Here I made a Christmas Tree ornament.
Using Crimson Red Archival Ink I stamped onto cream glossy cardstock then added sparkle with fine glitter and imitation gold leaf flakes. The flakes I used are a combination of colour (called “Sunshine”) which are lovely to work with and add further dimension to your work. By using fine glitter it doesn’t interfere with the clarity of the stamped image and the particles are fine enough to sandwich behind the glass.
Photographing in daylight doesn’t show the sparkle and flakes to their best. Once the Christmas Tree lights reflect off this it is really quite beautiful the way the colours catch the light.

Lynne, I’m loving all your Christmas creations!

I can never, ever get the glitter and shine to show to its full effect, either,
but we KNOW what you mean, and can see it shine in our minds eye!
