Three Spring Maidens

Recently the weather has been almost like Spring but such days tend to be short-lived where I stay and sometimes we experience four seasons in one day.  When I was working on an up-coming post, it was snowing heavily, yes, this was in March, yet I was making Easter themed cards! Anyway, as I set to work on this altered frame, it was a bright day and a perfect day to work with the images from Divas D’Este’s Spring Flower Women CS.
Three images in particular had similar colours making them ideal to gather together.
For Spring, I like the colour combination of blue and pink which were the prominent colours in the three images. A generous length of pink satin ribbon tied into a bow at the top of the hanging with the tails left to hang and drape around the frame.
Some subtle stamping on each frame, a bouquet of flowers stamped with Distress Ink in Victorian Velvet.
Layers of Gesso, acrylic paint and Old White patina paint to create a shabby appearance to the frames.
A little cluster of flowers.
Creating such a project would prepare your home for the coming Spring.
