Tailor Made For You (FSC#10 – Dressmaker, Corsets & Accessories)

It is an honour to be the host for the new challenge theme at Fashionable Stamping Challenge.  Returning to a favourite theme of mine (no, not Paris) I decided on the theme The Dressmaker, Corsets and Accessories.  At FSC we are passionate about stamping so please including stamping in your artwork. For all the rules, of which there are very few, as we like it to be all about fun, click the link at the beginning of this post. You will also be able to view the incredible DT samples from the Fashionettes.I never tire of Oxford Impressions’ Dressforms & Corsets set. On this tote I used them in conjunction with other O.I. stamps. My lovely friend Gisele (Supersnooks 13) recently sent a bundle of burlap in beautiful colours. I was keen to use this rose pink colour so I formed a pocket for the tote.
Tucked inside ….Removing the tag ….To embellish the tote I added crochet trim and buttons. The “label” was stamped onto scrap calico and attached to the bottom corner.I used two ink pads, Staz-on Timber Brown and Archival Rose Madder which co-ordinated so beautifully with Gisele’s burlap.
What artwork will you create suitable for The Dressmaker, whatever it is please be sure to share  with us at Fashionable Stamping Challenge.
Wishes
Lynne

Such a lovely bag Lynne, the burlap Gisèle sent you is a perfect match! I never tire of dressmakers, especially when they’re so pretty as yours. Could you please send me a short e-mail Lynne? I synchronized my i-phone but somehow your e-mail address got lost during the process of it (along with quite a few others, argh!). Thanks! Hugs, Ira x

Oh, how wonderfully fabulous to see you so quickly use that burlap,
(unlike a certain piece of lace that is yet to have been graced on one of your fab creations lol lol…). Such an original piece, love it….
