All Wrapped Up (CI Challenge)

Crafty Individuals Challenge  is underway with the amazing Jo Cappor Sandon hosting the December challenge. She is asking you to get All Wrapped Up, no not against the snowy weather, instead with your packaging. Many of you will be in the middle of Christmas preparations, creating boxes, tags, gift wrapping, etc so why not have some fun and create for the challenge at the same time. All we ask is that you include at least one Crafty Individuals product in your submission.  All details for entry are available at Jean’s Blog and remember, 5 winners are selected each month with each winner selecting a stamp of their choice.
For my sample I decided to use packaging as my packaging. I had laid aside a Primark bag which was ripe for altering. I used CI-330, the “I Saw Three Ships Come Sailing By” stamp. When I received this stamp I always assumed I would make masculine style projects  but as I gathered my supplies for this item the idea in my head was for the appearance of  Rustic but with a twist of the pretty to it.
The image was stamped onto scrap fabric. This is a detailed stamp but as with all CI stamps, it stamped beautifully (Staz-on Timber Brown)Lace in different styles added here and there with the addition of  buttons. A rustic bow.
Have fun with this challenge whether you up-cycle packaging or create your own packaging from scratch. I have another CI “All Wrapped Up” sample to share with you another day whereby I created my packaging from scratch.
Visit the  Crafty Individuals’ Blog where you will also see a stunning selection of artwork from team members.
Thank you for visiting and for all the comments left for me to read, they encourage me so much as does your friendship.
Wishes
Lynne

Awesome package Lynne, love how you adorned the whole. It’s a gift in itself, that’s what it is! And where did you get that gorgeous starshaped lace on the left? It’s totally beautiful as is the sweet little embellishment you made with the 3 buttons, fabulous! Wishing you a lovely evening, hugs, Ira x

Your bag is simply stunning Lynne! I love your use of music sheet & lace.
I’m feeling rather pleased with myself, my daughter had a singing exam today, & the place where she had it, was selling old music for a donation. I picked up a couple of nice aged ones :o)

I get shivers of delight looking at your stuff sometimes.
    This time, it happened again!
What a fortunate person the recipient of this lovely gift bag will know themselves to be! And how I wish I could follow suit this holiday season, make everything by hand, and with such distinction as you so often share here.

Hi Lynne, this is gorgeous. I love that stamp. It looks so old on that color fabric. The lace, buttons and music paper add the right touch. Wow, would I love a package in this!

Hi Lynne. Fabulous bag. I have been eyeing up that stamp and to be honest I thought, like you, “masculine style projects”, but it works so well with the lace and music sheet. Rustic Chic at its best. Really love it.
