The Romance of Travel (FSC#11 – Around The World)

Do you want to get away for Christmas, if that is a definite “YES” then pack your bags as you can join us at Fashionable Stamping Challenge on our jaunt Around The World. Is there somewhere you would like to visit, somewhere new perhaps, or a favourite destination, I am sure you have somewhere in mind. The Fashionettes are obviously a well travelled group of girls as you will see when you visit the FSC Blog to view their artwork. If you decide to join us on this trip please include stamping on your artwork. We welcome all styles of artwork but we do ask that you include stamping, which we are passionate about over at FSC.
For the moment, let’s pack a weekend bag and fly off to Casablanca. It might seem odd, to anyone who knows me and my Blog, why I didn’t choose Paris as my destination. The reason is that I had recently received the Oxford Impressions’ Casablanca stamp set and was so keen to use them. This set has it all, including  map, postal marks, labelsalso travel documents
but yes, Paris is in my heart and I couldn’t travel Around The World without including it in my itinerary! I formed the Passport into a booklet so I could include the infamous “We’ll Always Have Paris”.Burlap, twine and twill sit next to a border of  coffee coloured lace as the only embellishments on this card.
Our trip Around The World  lasts for two weeks. Bon Voyage!
Lynne x
