And They Danced Into The Wee Hours (FSC#12 – New Year – New Stash)

At Fashionable Stamping Challenge we are asking you to share your New Stash with us in our challenge, New Year – New Stash.  Did you receive new stamps or what about paper or ribbon or packs of embellishments, whatever it may be then create some art and share with us but please remember that we are passionate about stamping at FSC so you must include some stamping on your artwork.
With our first challenge of the year landing on New Year’s Day I decided to make a calendar, depicting four dancers as they dance in the New Year. The pocket watch from The Dressmaker plate from Oxford Impressions’ was stamped onto K&co paper to make a backdrop for the dancers. The watch was perfect as a symbol for the dancers counting down the time as they bring in the New Year. The dancers, from the Jane Austen plate (also Oxford Impressions’) should of course be dancing in Regency England but I am bringing them north of the Border where they are  possibly dancing a Highland jig!
The quote is a rub-on which suited the piece perfectly. You pick the theme this time whether you choose a theme depicting New Year or otherwise is your choice but remember and show us your New Stash. All entry details are available at the FSC Blog where you will also see the stunning artwork created by my fellow Fashionettes.
Wishes
Lynne
