She Dreams Of Raspberries & Cream (FSC)

Sorry for the lateness in the day for this Fashionable Stamping Challenge post. Over at FSC the challenge set for this fortnight is Monochromatic Plus One Other Colour. Any monochromatic shade can be used for your project and to make it a little more interesting we are allowing one other colour to be added. As always we ask that your artwork includes stamping and please, no digi stamps. Once again we are being sponsored by Marina from Cottage Crafts so definitely worth your while entering.
For my DT sample I decided on Raspberry & Cream for my colours (although I am actually a strawberry not raspberry person). The main stamp I used is one of Crafty Individuals newest stamps, CI-338 All of the raspberry tones were achieved with one bottle of homemade spray ink diluted to varying degrees. The watercolour paper, gimp, fabric flowers, gauze and fabric were all stained in this way. This new stamp is incredibly detailed yet it stamped beautifully onto the fabric.Dream was one of those free stamps that CI include with orders. For the background, as with the cards shown in the previous post, I used CI-342.
To introduce the other colour of cream I included:- cream lace, cream flat back pearls, a bundle of shabby bows and cream paper onto which I stamped the CI sheet music (CI-194).
All details for entering the challenge are available at the FSC challenge Blog (link at top of post). You will also see what my DT sisters have created for their DT samples, the artwork is incredible. Have fun with this challenge.

Hi Lynne, I love your title for this one, perfect for the beautiful colors. I would never have considered using pink for the stamp image. You have helped me to step out of that safe, ordinary box. Thanks! Linda

Lynne this piece is just divine, I just love the colours you have used with the shabby fabrics and music paper. I can now imagine sitting in the garden on a warm summer evening with my bowl of raspberries and cream and a glass of champagne – of course what else would you have with it?
    Have a good day.

Oh Lynne! Another breathtaking vision. My CI package with this beauty arrived yesterday! You have inspired me to ink her up. I love how you chose fabric rather than paper, something I am hoping to explore after seeing the new SS magazine with some of your glorious work included! Best, Yvonne
