The Letters They Wrote

Oxford Impressions’ London Telegraph is such a fun set to work with. As I mentioned in the post “Devoted To His Work” you can create Steampunk artwork but with a set like London Telegraph, there are so many possibilities.  This man and woman had to come together on one piece of artwork and wanting to create something in sharp contrast to Devoted To His Work I set about making a Valentine altered canvas. An art friend beautifully wrapped a gift for me in some stunning tissue paper which I knew I could re-purpose. The style suited the Victorian style of the stamps.
On this altered canvas I dipped into other Oxford Impressions’ sets to help tell their story.
Bundle of Letters – A Season Of Giving
Beloved – A Fair Lady
Valentine – BonBon
Pen – Travel Journal
Handwritten Letter – Beloved
The dashing man in her life.Valentine decorated with a game spinner and heart shaped brad. This stamp is so beautiful and so useful. I stamped it a few times to create a bundle of love letters with the addition of a stamped pen. What is unseen is the stamped handwritten letter on the interior of the canvas. Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day and remember, if you would like a chance to win the mini Valentine candy I am offering then all you need to do is leave your name in the previous post before midnight.
Wishes
Lynne
