Hello Everyone
I know, two posts in one day!
June at Dezinaworld has an exquisite image sheet available, Veils of Lace. Although all the images are stunning, when I viewed this sheet I was keen to use a particular image on a notebook.
The notebook is a great size at 7″x5″. I covered with artist sheet canvas which I painted and stamped with a text stamp from Oxford Impressions before layering lace. I dyed gimp a grey/green colour, mixing your own dyes is fun and costs so little money. I liked the idea of a bookmark so used a length of satin ribbon, you can see its tail in the photograph below. An ornate frame was used to create a focal for the Dezinaworld image adding a pearl bead and tiny key.
If you are interested in having the Veils of Lace image sheet for use in your own artwork then click the link at the top of the post to take you to June’s Dezinaworld blog.
If you have already visited today then thank you for taking the trouble to visit once more.
Wishes
Lynne
