A Postcard From Marie

Hello Everyone
Thank You for your visits and comments for the previous post.
Last week I posted a notebook using one of Dezinaworld’s Marie images from (Marie 7 set png) at the time of altering the notebook I also made two tags for friends. The tags work on the same idea as the notebook in that I selected the png I wanted to work with, re-sized it and set it against a postcard from French Kissed Postcards. Then, because I cannot help myself as a stamper, I added some stamping using stamps from Oxford Impressions.
I used a good quality cardstock to print onto which allowed me to be heavy handed with distressing (abrading and sanding before inking).  Trims and seam binding were dyed to co-ordinate with this image.  I just love the colours in this image. The second tag Trims were layered and pearls added.June had an enforced break but she is back!  It always worthwhile visiting her Blog for up-dates on new releases and sale items.  There is a stunning image sheet that she is promoting at the moment, I am sure it will become a favourite with many of us. The link to June’s blog is at the top of this post.
