Hello Everyone
Before I share another Oxford Impressions’ DT sample using the Abraham Lincoln stamp set I wanted to share the news that there have been some more new releases at Oxford Impressions. the themes are Masquerade and Dr. Coffin’s Apothecary. The sets obviously are released in time for creating Hallowe’en art but as with all of the stamp plates that Suzanne creates, many of the images can be used beyond their obvious use. There is a beautiful poppy and mushroom on the Dr. Coffin set.
For today it is a return to the Abraham Lincoln set and actually this was the first card I made on receiving the set.
I used five stamps:- Lincoln, theatre bill, star, splatter and sentiment.Lincoln was stamped onto a tea stained tag.
Stars repeatedly show up on the card.
There are some wonderful sentiments in this set which would be useful for birthday cards. The splatter could be used to represent blood but I used it as an ink stain.
I hope to catch-up with you soon to see what you have been creating.
Many Thanks for visiting and also for the lovely comments on my previous post.
Wishes
Lynne

Dear Lynne,
you alwayes are able to mix, different stamps ,papers, and fabric, in the most interesting and beautiful way. I love you used 2 tags differently dyed and looking so old, as if they”lived” with Abraham Lincoln-and the stars printed on fabric- is wonderful, with that old piece of string. A gorgeous piece again,my dear friend.

LOL Marie I have stitches in my side with your comment.
Yes, there was a rather “grim” side to this gentleman regarding his personal life, or so they say. Lynne x

I love this one, Lynne, but you know that’s not unusual when I come to your blog. The mix of creams/browns are so beautiful and I love the way the repeating stars brings my eye around. That distressed tag is great too!
