A Few Alterations Please (FSC#36 To Die For)

Hello Everyone
I do feel the need to apologise for when I post consecutive days but today is the day when a new challenge theme is announced at Fashionable Stamping Challenge. For this fortnight the theme is To Die For.  We have a wonderful prize as always and all we ask is if you want to join us that you include stamping on your entry and please, no digi’s. Visit FSC to also view the amazingly inspirational artwork on display from my DT sisters.
As I mentioned, here is a non-festive/winter project. My DT sample is actually something I made more than one year ago, it is not unusual for me as I have a few pieces still kicking around from last year that I haven’t posted on my Blog.  I might need to cram some in between now and the 31st of this month. Anyway when I read the upcoming challenge I knew that this wall hanging would fit the theme (love when this happens!). Before I progress I have to give a big thanks to Alison (Craftytrog) as you see I don’t own a die cutting machine so I have Alison to thank for wonderful die cuts I receive to play with.

A canvas panel is the base for this dressmaking themed hanging with tissue paper which I had stamped (applied using Klear) forming the background.lynnemoncrieffdressmakerpanel-001The die cut was inked and stamped.detaillynnemoncrieffSome details of the stamping onto fabric. stampingonfabriclynnemoncrieffAnother little bit of the detail on this hanging.   I find working projects such as this so therapeutic, stamping onto various surfaces and then playing around with composition and wondering how many little bits ‘n’ pieces I can add.detail 2lynnemoncrieffWhatever die-cut you choose to work with have some fun and please share with us at FSC.
Thank You for visiting this post today and enjoy what remains of the weekend.
