Where She Shares Her Secrets

Hello Everyone
If you are a regular visitor then you will have seen me share various DT posts for Oxford Impressions where I used the Lily Elsie stamp set, it is time for another such post.
Selecting one of the Lily Elsie stamps I altered this journal. This journal was  “naked”, a buff colour, ripe for altering.
Lily Elsie (available directly from Oxford Impressions)
secretsnotebook-002Emulsion paints were applied to the cover and then it was a matter of more fun by creating a collage from stained, distressed and painted papers and beautiful Lily Elsie herself. main detailSecrets isn’t from the Lily Elsie plate, that can be found on the My Story plate.DIGITAL CAMERATouches of lace against the stained vintage sheet music. detail2This is the distressed appearance of the paint, also severely distressing the cover with various implements. DIGITAL CAMERAMany Thanks for your visit to this post, as your time is always appreciated.

So pretty, Lynne! I love the colors. I, too, enjoy decorating journals, especially that I’m really into gratitude and affirmation journaling.

    Be blessed this weekend,

Oh, another of your beauties Lynne… Your Lily Elsie notebooks really deserve to be cherished, treasured and to be dealt with great care (I’m one of those fortunate enough to have one of your delicate journals). I have not yet written a single letter in it, for it almost seems like sacrilege! So I’ve decided just to keep it for the best of quotes, poems and such. Have a great weekend my friend, hugs, Ira x
