Flowers For My Love

Hello Everyone
A quick, scheduled post.
I am playing catch-up as this card was made several weeks ago and has already been posted on the Darkroom Door Blog where there is a supply list and instructions.
When I received the Floral Texture Stamp to play with I was so eager to ink it up I opted for a quick card where I stamped it once onto the cardbase to create a backdrop for the collage style elements and then stamped onto a scrap of cotton fabric.flowersformyloveThis card is similar in style to the one made with the French Script Texture stamp HERE.  Once again I gathered together lots of pieces of this and that, anything that caught my eye, as simple as that.  Usually I have bits lying in disarray on my work area, a wee craft space which is sorely in need of some TLC!photo2That little strip of vintage fabric is something I have been holding onto for some time …..who am I kidding, only myself (!) – that is the Floral Texture stamped onto a ripped piece of cotton. Teamed up with lace and fabric fragments.
photo3I always appreciate your visits to my Blog.

This is beautiful. The DD stamp on the fabric really does look like something from another age, some lovely little scrap of vintage cotton. I love your style, Lynne and it really shines through on this creation. Julie Ann xxx
