Thoughtful Words

Hello Everyone
A short(ish) post to share with you a card made for someone who I wanted to know that I am thinking of them.5 September 060This card is essentially build along the lines of cards I shared recently, HERE is one of the cards.
After texture, Gesso and paint were applied5 September 056I stamped the beautiful new Damask Texture Stamp before stamping the focal stamp with paint. phototwoSimply finishing with a sentiment cut from a Wordstrip.

    So very lovely, with the blue damask stamp on the background and the fabric strips taking up the blue colour again- the flower stamp looks almost magestic there, standing allone , and with your lovely words , dear Lynne.

    Gorgeous Lynne, love the soft colours, texture and composition. Sorry I’ve missed so many beautiful designs. I’m still very busy but finally feeling like I have my head above water. My craft ‘studio’ is still in boxes, to be painted soon (I hope) and next gardens to install. We will have company for a couple of weeks from overseas, so life will not settle down until into the fall. Take good care, Shirleyxx
