Sit Quietly With Me

Hello Everyone
My first post for this brand new week sees me sharing two cards,  a birthday card for a cousin and a card sent as a thank you to a lovely couple (friends of my parents, who showed me kindness) but the cards also double up as team samples for Crafty Individuals as on each card I used one of their new stamps, CI-416.
A quick post as there are no detail photographs to share.
The cards are different sizes but essentially are duplicates using the same paints, fabrics and washi tape and adorned with lace roses stained/painted to co-ordinate.birdtwolynneFor the birthday card I also made use of another Crafty Individuals stamp, CI-407, an Elements stamp comprising various sentiments.  The actual stamp has the sentiment surrounded by an ornate frame so I stamped onto tissue paper, removing the frame element before adhering to the cardbase.  I might have used the stamp as a whole but it didn’t work with the composition. birdcardonelynneThank You for your visit to this post.
Wishes
Lynne

Two colourful makes Lynne, with gorgeous layers of fabric, papers, paints and ink. The first reminds me of stripping wallpaper and finding more layers below, tearing around the edge.

    Treasured makes for sure
    Best wishes

Fantastic use of colours dear Lynne, – I love the raw edge of the paper on the first card , and the sweetest washi tape, you used on both… they compliment your colours so beautiful, together with the stained roses.
The birdies stamp is so sweet !!
I think of you, and send you loving greetings.

I love the colour combos on these, Lynne. That wondeful orange with the green is the loveliest of creations. The whole layout fits so well with the delightful stamp of the little birds: two very inspirational cards. Julie Ann xxx
