Hello Everyone
Last week I shared with you one of the Halloween cards which had been published in the Jul/Aug/Sept issue of The Stampers’ Sampler. For this post I thought I would share another of the cards from that collection.
The cards were submitted as a collection with the theme of the shabby, grubby stained tags appearing on each card along with stained pieces of fabric, string ties, etc. Once again, this card uses stamps from Oxford Impressions‘ Dr. Coffin’s Apothecary stamp set (also available from That’s Crafty in the U.K.)A teeny piece of stained fabric which I stamped onto before layering a fragment of mica and stained crochet lace.
The bottom edge from the grubby stained tag. I liked the gap of white space in-between the two parts of the tag.
Thank You for your visit to this post.
Wishes
Lynne

Never have ‘shabby’ ‘grubby’ and ‘stained’ looked so good. I love it against the white.

Another beautiful and eerie card from Dr. Coffin’s Apothecary, Lynne! I love how you’ve soften the overall spook factor with that lovely piece of lace that you’ve placed under the skull & cross-bone image 🙂 So delicate but I’ll heed the warning nonetheless 🙂 Congrats again on the fabulous feature in Stamper’s Sampler 🙂 XOXO-Shari

This is so beautiful, dear Lynne, I love your staining, and your torn tag, looking wonderful in the tones of tea I guess, and with the wonderful raven on top. You created fantastic edges around the tag pieces, how gorgeous !!
Congratulations again dear friend- and hopefully a wonderful weekend !
Sending you smiles and hugs.
