She Loves Snowflakes

Hello Everyone
I call her Snowflake Girl but the actual name of the stamp is She Loves Snowflakes and she is one of Redlead’s wonderful Christmas/winter stamps.
The first time I inked her up was for another project (which I haven’t drafted yet) so today it is this card I am sharing.redleadoneThis card has Iridescent Paste, 3 colours of mica flakes, glass glitter and Glamour Dust! Not that you would realise it when looking at the main photograph!
Now you start to see some of the shimmer in this detail photograph along with the scattering of teeny tiny flat back pearls on some of the snowflakes.redleadtwoThe most shimmer and sparkle takes place surrounding Snowflake Girl.  Of course, I couldn’t resist a touch of torn lace. 3 December 021A snowflake dangles from some twine but not before it has been dusted with Glamour Dust. 3 December 016This sweet sentiment is one of the many stamps on the Christmas Labels set. Chris and Sharon have so many wonderful Christmas/winter sentiments, many of which I have not come across elsewhere.redleadthreeWhen I start to share more cards you will see this colour palette of Kraft with winter white and lots of shimmer turning up time and again.  If you are a regular friend of my Blog, then you have been warned!
Hope this week is kind to all of you and you are zipping through your Christmas preparations.
I will return soon with another Christmas project.
Wishes
Lynne

That’s a gorgeous stamp! I must admit I’ve spent a bit too much on stamps as of late, though surely nobody would mind if it were used on some beautiful Christmas cards? Thanks for the inspiration, Lynne

A magical. and beautiful card, for christmas, and all winter long ,dear Lynne.
I love all the icy shine and glitter from mica flakes , and Glamour dust , and the snowball row, on top of the card. Wonderful stamps, too- the sentiment is so sweet. I wonder where you buy the mica flakes Lynne ? It seems I can`t find them here. I wish I could see the texture better,- AND it would not be from you, if there was no little lace ,lol.
Hug and smiles from Dorthe ,xxxx

Oh Boy, Lynne!! More sparkle and mica and that lovely Glamour Dust!! I can see the iridescent shimmer — I see blue, gold and purple sparkles all around Snowflake Girl 🙂 She’s a cute image 🙂 And she looks mischievous, too–like she’s ready to fall right down into the snow and start making a snow angel!! 🙂
Such a sweet card, Lynne!! XOXO-Shari

First of all I’d like to apologize for being MIA last week dear Lynne, but whilst being in the midst of renovating our upper floor we had to go abroad to meet several suppliers (great timing, I know!). And on top of that we came home this morning to find our central heating broke down… Thank goodness it is fixed again now, so we don’t have to wash ourselves with ice cold water anymore 😉 No fun, let me tell you! I am truly very sorry for having missed out on all of your latest creations, but thankful to be able to enjoy them right now! Your beautiful work is always an immense pleasure for me to look at! Thanks for sharing, hugs, Ira xox
