A Christmas Delivery

Hello Everyone
You probably know that Crafty Individuals have, just recently, released some new stamps but the stamp I am sharing in this post was from the previously released batch, CI-421 ,  A Christmas Delivery.
Recently I mentioned that red has been making an appearance now and again amongst my Christmas projects and here it has popped up once again!  I wasn’t even conscious I was doing so at the time when I made this, which is a few weeks ago now.12 November 019The base is an MDF panel painted with a mix of lovely DecoArt fluid paints before stencilling snowflakes. (The MDF panel, paints and stencil can be sourced from That’s Crafty).
I wasn’t sure how clear an impression I would get from the stamp, stamped onto Kraft which I had roughly painted with Gesso, but I had no reason to worry and then after stamping all I did was simply dab some of the same paint used for the base, to paint the lady’s jacket and other than that all I did was a generous sprinkling of Glamour Dust.detailoneThe torn ticking adds a touch of softness to the plaque along with some sweet mini pompom trim (I love this trim!)detailfourA wooden button painted to match the base. detailtwoThe sample stamps Crafty Individuals include with all on-line orders are always so useful. I’ve had this Christmas sentiment for some time now, I use it every year. detailthreeNot that I will be hanging this one but a festive plaque like this would be nice to hang from a door handle to welcome any visitors over the festivities.
Thank You for your visit which is greatly appreciated.
Wishes
Lynne

This would be a darling doorknob hanger, Lynne 🙂 Very festive and cheery and just a happy, vintage Christmas décor piece 🙂 Oh, love that Glamour Dust 😉 I can see it shimmering around the delivery girl! And oh yes–the little pom-pom trim is absolutely perfect with the torn red & white ticking!! That material is serving you so very well 😉 🙂 A Merry Christmas, indeed 🙂 XOXO-Shari
