A Winter Garden

Hello Everyone
I have another card to share which features another one of the newly released Crafty Individuals stamps, Winter Garden, CI-425.
A very neutral colour palette with a hint of Kraft shining through and once again, that background with the snowflake stencil used with the fabulous Maimeri Iridescent Paste (available from That’s Crafty) which catches the light beautifully.blogphotoThis year I’ve used this on many of my cards as a stamping surface. I like the rough brushstrokes against the kraft.  Lots of sparkle.detailoneThis snowflake stamp is also from Crafty Individuals, such a pretty snowflake. It was one of their stamps from a sample pack from some time ago.detailtwoA very quick post but I am conscious of your time and that at this time of the year you don’t really have the time to linger over lengthy blog posts.
Always so grateful of your visits.

Such a pleasure to ‘lingering’ at your creations Lynne, and this is no exception. Love this stamp and the elegant , soft combo you choose, and all that subtle shining. Perfect!

Dear Lynne , I so love these kind of simple ( in use of colours) beautiful cards you have created this year, and especially when you add the magic and shimmer , plus the beautiful snowflakes pasted ,looking amazing in the light. I wonder if it is the same paste you used on my card ? Also love the tiny tags and the “glass” on wire -such a stunning card , sweet friend.
    Have a lovely evening, dear.
    Dorthe, xx

What a magical creation, Lynne. I haven’t been well, so I have some catching up to do, but I just had to comment on the beauty of this. It really does capture the glittering frosty delights of a winter garden. It is a little work of art. xxx

Lynne, this is a shimmery, wintery delight!! I love those brush strokes, too–is that a ‘dry brush’ technique? I Love It!! I can see those gorgeous iridescent snowflakes in the background–Love Those, too!! The Winter Garden image is so pretty sitting amongst the lace and textures and sparkle–I especially love that little spray of crystals coming off of the corner…the blooms of the flowers just couldn’t be contained 🙂 Just Lovely and soothing–All is Calm…. 🙂 XOXO-Shari
