The Golden Queen (The Stampers’ Sampler)

Hello Everyone
Time to share the final card from the trio mentioned HERE and HERE.
As with the previous cards, this card features PaperArtsy LPC stamps with a hint of stamps from  Oxford Impressions Castle Keep (all stamps available from That’s Crafty)two.1Once again, the focal stamping takes place on a tag.  I layered one of the arches upon her head to create a wee bit of interest.two.2I dipped into the mosaic tiles, painted with metallic paint and then stamped onto it, adding it to a metal frame.two.3After creating texture and painting the watercolour paper base with metallic paints, I randomly stamped text (from Castle Keep).  I wanted it to be subtle and to have the effect of torn pieces of book text.  A stamped tower, edged with metallic paint creates a little bit of interest in the lower corner of the card, bringing an overall balance to the card as well.two.6I have a few posts drafted, artwork which I have been lucky enough to have published. Now and again I will share some bits ‘n’ pieces.
Before I leave I want to say a heartfelt Thank You to all of you who made my birthday special with the beautiful cards, gifts and so many warm birthday wishes. It was a quiet birthday but made lovely, by lovely people, thank you. All my cards and gifts are on display but I will photograph them soon and share in a blog post.
Many thanks for your visit to this post and for your continued support.
Wishes
Lynne

What a beautiful, and magic creation, dear Lynne. Kept all in the softest of beige ,with a little sepia and gold, makes it like a part of a tale from medieal, and the stamp of the lovely woman with the arches on her head-, also makes me think back on that period ! It is a gorgeous card, the tile is wonderfully painted and stamped, and again, the background so beautiful..
Thank you for showing, you will hear from me my friend.

Lynne, This card seems to exude a certain amount of royal-ness about it! I LOVE that little castle tower that you included down in the corner! It’s either what this fair maiden is looking out from, or, she’s somewhere else in her castle, longing for her special place in the castle where she escapes to, to be alone 🙂 There’s romance and mystery and most importantly, TALENT in this beautiful card! Congratulations again on this wonderful collection being published in The Stamper’s Sampler!! 🙂 🙂 XOXO-Shari
