It is time for a new challenge over at the Crafty Individuals Blog. I was handed the task of selecting the theme for this month.
At this time of year with so many people finding themselves with little or no time to create whether due to holidays or focusing on their children during the school holidays or settling back into life after the summer months, I opted for a very open and easy theme, some might say boring (!) … Anything Goes.
When I received CI-443 my first thought was this stamp would be excellent for notecards, so for my challenge sample, that is exactly what I have to share with you.
2 Crafty Individuals stamps + 2 Gelli Prints + 1 mop up = 6 notecards!
Nothing fancy, as you will see, with only a paper flower here and there. I didn’t want the cards to be overly embellished because they are after all, simply notecards.
The bundle tied up with organza ribbon. Admittedly it would have been fancier if I had tucked them inside an altered box, however time was seriously against me as it has been a struggle to create these past weeks so to ensure I had this completed on time for 1st September, I decided to keep it simple!CI-443 is a large stamp, a seriously large stamp. For the two notecards below, I stamped onto one Gelli Print, tore away a thin strip onto which I stamped the sentiments and then tore the reminder of the panel into two and adhered to watercolour paper. I have a fondness (actually, a weakness!) for cold pressed/NOT.The process repeated with a different Gelli Print.
A wee touch of variation, not a Gelli Print but a mop up sheet.
