Glad Tidings She Sends (The Stampers’ Sampler)

Hello
This will be quite a quick scheduled post, sharing only one card and no story to it!
This card appears in the latest issue of The Stampers’ Sampler, featuring stamps from the Christmas Wish set by Oxford Impressions (also available in the U.K. from That’s Crafty) along with a lovely sentiment from Redlead Paperworks. Redlead really do have some of the most wonderful sentiment stamps on the market.
gladtidingslynneoneThe background is the same as the card appearing in this post, HERE. Kraft, Gesso, snowflake stencil and lovely Maimeri Iridescent Paste (also available from That’s Crafty).gladtidingslynnetwoA scattering of vintage mica flakes in different colour ways and as Christmas is a time when that extra dash of sparkle is acceptable, the card was edged with glass glitter.gladtidingslynnethreeMany thanks for visiting this post, your visits are always appreciated.

This is so very beautiful, dear Lynne, and I admired it in the magazine, too- (rereading that special issue very often, to see all your gorgeous creations !) The lovely lady stamp with the sequins added-, the lace, and fantastic background with glasglitter, and mica flakes , makes a wonderful sparkly christmas card. Love your romantic flower add and the little snowflake ribbon ,Lynne.

Lynne, I so agree with you about Red Lead’s sentiments: there is no other company to really compete with them in this area. I love the image from Oxford Impressions that you used here. She looks like a beautiful dancer. Such exquisite beauty on a card that is a miniature work of art. xx

The flower on this card seems to tie up all the hair on the lady and bring together the lace around her. The beautiful distressed background on the card really gives a vintage look to her. What a wonderful sentiment. Must check out Read Lead. Thanks again, Lynne, for sharing with us! xx inkybru
