Some weeks ago, I was approached by Christine Rice Cooper to participate in an anthology of reflections on 9/11, memories of that day and any significance to our lives and art.The unfolding of what would become known as 9/11, can be played in my mind as though watching a film. Geographically, the distance is 3,000 + miles away but the impact of the horror, I doubt if I could have been more shocked if it had happened within this island I live on. Emotions transcend geographical boundaries, this was a disaster which resonated with us on a human level, of fear, of confusion, of grief and even, anger.
My recollections of that day and those of so many others, can be viewed HERE.
Many thanks to Chris Rice Cooper for having me be a small part of this anthology.
