Hello
In the Winter 2018 issue of Greencraft, I was lucky enough to have this project, of a bundle of notebooks, published.
Such a simple idea, working with old Bingo cards to make the covers of the notebooks and with a few scraps of ticking fabric and stamps, it is easy for the notebooks to come together. In fact the most time consuming element is cutting the pages!
Me, being someone adverse to colour, I needed to tone down the colour of the Bingo cards, simple… a wash of Gesso.
Stamps relating to art and creating, feature on the notebooks, on the front
and rear cover.
For this cover, I mixed Red Lead, with “my journey” from one of my Affirmations stamps.
To bind the books, ball chain.
Luckily, I had different styles of Bingo cards to play with and incorporated some Bingo counters to embellish the notebooks.
“My story, I will Share” (from Lynne’s Affirmations Stamp Set 1)For the pencils, ticking wrapped around them to tie in with the colour theme of the notebooks.
Thank you for your visit.
Wishes
Lynne

Lynne, these are adorable! I’m a Bingo card fanatic! I love your use of bits of ticking wrapped around the cards. Your placement of titles remind me of a target with the bull’s eye in the center, but in this case I think “BINGO”! I’ve got a few Bingo card journals started and this is inspiring me to get them out again! My health is improving and I’m gaining energy. Thank you for sharing! Tremendous piece! Sharon xx

Really beautiful notebooks Lynne and such a lovely idea to recycle the bingo cards to create covers. Those little quotes and affirmations are made for them too.

Great style and colours, Lynne! Congratulations on having these beauties published! I’m so sad that this wonderful magazine along with so many others will be retired soon. 😦 It’s such a shame.

Dear friend, they are all so wonderful, and really lovely, even I would never have said a Bingo card looked lovely, lol- but you made them to something else, and they are the sweetest little notebooks, with your details of fabric and words .

Oh my gosh Lynne!! These are absolutely fabulous and brought tears to my eyes because they brought memories of my folks who used to run the Bingo kitchen at our Church Parrish growing up- I used to help them serve the food there.
I love the simpleness of the tattered ribbon and just enough of the color to make these pages pop out! I so love these! Congratulations on your being published in GreenCraft! I told you before, and I mean this, you need a magazine or book of all of your gorgeous artwork!
How are you and you Mum doing,my friend? I think of you both almost daily and sending wishes of healing and support out to you-
Sending love & hugs,Jackie
