Words & Flowers A Handmade Book @ That’s Crafty!

Hello
With the Word Flowers stamps appearing on HOCHANDA recently, I thought it was time to play around with them once more, this time a concertina book for That’s Crafty! Blog.
This is only a peek of the book which was formed from A3 watercolour sheet.
If you would like to see the full project, then please visit HERE.
During these strangest of times, I hope you are all managing to cope and find solace in creating.

Word Flowers Stamps on HOCHANDA

Hello
I return with another post to share news of That’s Crafty! appearing on HOCHANDA on April 14th at 9 am and 5 pm.

For this collection, I only inked up the words from the Word Flowers stamps, to make the word the focal.  On each card I worked with the beautiful That’s Crafty Lustre spray in Aubergine and Gold.

We hope you will manage to catch the shows tomorrow, either on t.v. or online.

Word Flowers on HOCHANDA

Hello

I am here to share news that my That’s Crafty! Word Flowers stamps, will be appearing on HOCHANDA on Tuesday 14th April.  Although the lovely Jo Channon will not be at the helm, due to Covid-19, changes also extend to HOCHANDA shows, however, Shellie Blow has videos to share and of course, there will as always be a bounty of That’s Crafty products. So, winding the clock back to when the Word Flowers stamps were first released, I will be sharing here, on Instagram and Facebook, some of the samples made at the time of release.

When I set about designing the Word Flowers stamps, incorporating a word into each flower was the springboard and also wanting a design whereby the stamp can be used simply as a flower or inking up only the word.

In the first samples to share here, you can see that I simply worked with the flower, the word is nowhere to be seen.  Any of you who know the style I prefer, where I gravitate towards the neutral colour palette, will not be surprised that this wee card collection doesn’t have any bright, floral colours, I simply worked with That’s Crafty! Walnut Ink Crystals and I also worked with That’s Crafty! Teabag Paper.
