Word Flowers Stamps on HOCHANDA

I return with another post to share news of That’s Crafty! appearing on HOCHANDA on April 14th at 9 am and 5 pm.

For this collection, I only inked up the words from the Word Flowers stamps, to make the word the focal.  On each card I worked with the beautiful That’s Crafty Lustre spray in Aubergine and Gold.

We hope you will manage to catch the shows tomorrow, either on t.v. or online.

Word Flowers on HOCHANDA

I am here to share news that my That’s Crafty! Word Flowers stamps, will be appearing on HOCHANDA on Tuesday 14th April.  Although the lovely Jo Channon will not be at the helm, due to Covid-19, changes also extend to HOCHANDA shows, however, Shellie Blow has videos to share and of course, there will as always be a bounty of That’s Crafty products. So, winding the clock back to when the Word Flowers stamps were first released, I will be sharing here, on Instagram and Facebook, some of the samples made at the time of release.

When I set about designing the Word Flowers stamps, incorporating a word into each flower was the springboard and also wanting a design whereby the stamp can be used simply as a flower or inking up only the word.

In the first samples to share here, you can see that I simply worked with the flower, the word is nowhere to be seen.  Any of you who know the style I prefer, where I gravitate towards the neutral colour palette, will not be surprised that this wee card collection doesn’t have any bright, floral colours, I simply worked with That’s Crafty! Walnut Ink Crystals and I also worked with That’s Crafty! Teabag Paper.

The Dawn Awakens – A Journal

Over at the That’s Crafty blog today, I am sharing a sample made for That’s Crafty’s appearance on HOCHANDA, for the ODS.
I worked with the fabulous new That’s Crafty Textures Collection stamp set, the leaf is so stunning in detail.
All details for this journal appear HERE
Thank you so much for your time, at one of the busiest times of the year.

That’s Crafty @ HOCHANDA

This Friday, That’s Crafty will be appearing on HOCHANDA, two shows at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Neil Burley will be at the helm, as he demonstrates with the products that will be showcased over the two shows.  There are lots of new That’s Crafty products and it is a very exciting (and nervous!) time for me as there will be the release of new Lynne’s Affirmations stamps. Actually, nervous is an understatement!!!
Laura Holland has allowed the team to share sneaky peeks of the samples we made for the shows.
The photos might appear as though they are from the same sample, I just happened to work with similar colour palette over the three samples I made.

Sample Three
We would love for you to tune in, set record or catch-up at HOCHANDA and that you enjoy the demos by Neil Burley and that some of the new products catch your eye.

Woodland Maiden

Today, at the That’s Crafty Blog, I am sharing one of the samples made for the recent HOCHANDA show, where lots of new That’s Crafty products were launched.
On my sample, I managed to sneak in one of my most loved stamps from Character Constructions… sneaky because it is not sold at the That’s Crafty store but Laura will place special orders for any Character Constructions stamps which might catch your eye.
If you would like to see the project in full, with instructions, then please visit HERE.
Have a lovely day.

That’s Crafty @ HOCHANDA

That’s Crafty will be appearing on HOCHANDA on Friday 18th August, two shows: 7.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m.
Once again, Neil Burley will be taking the helm as he showcases the new product launches including demonstrations and no doubt he will talk through the samples made by the D.T.  Wait until you see the samples created by the team, they have been so very busy!
We have permission to share sneaky peeks of our samples – I only managed two samples.  I was unsure if I would actually manage to make any samples, so making two, it was a wonderful feeling and so thankful for Laura Holland giving me the opportunity to create without any pressure.  My Dad died suddenly, it has been a dark time.  My Dad always took such a huge interest in my creative life, whether samples made for That’s Crafty, also watching when That’s Crafty appeared on HOCHANDA.  He not only took an interest in what I made, he showed interest in what others were creating, even reading Stampington & Co magazines.
That was why it seemed important for me to push myself to make a sample for HOCHANDA.
and second sneaky peek
We would love for you to join us to watch the shows but if you miss them, you should be able to catch up with them on-line @ HOCHANDA.
