That’s Crafty are launching new products at Stitches and I was lucky enough to have the new items to play with, to create samples.
Laura suggested I share the samples as DT projects so I decided to share the first one I made. Foolishly, I forgot to take dimensions but this is large! If you own the PaperArtsy EEA alphabet set, it will give you an idea of the proportions of the stamping against the frame of the shrine.
You might believe I would be enthusiastic about the shrines because I am on the That’s Crafty DT and feel obligated to be positive, that is not the case.
The shrines will be available in different sizes so if you wanted a statement piece, then the large shrines will be perfect or you might prefer a cluster of smaller shrines – variety and choice can only be a good thing! The actual shrines are easy to assemble, no special items required other than your favourite, reliable adhesive (I use Regular Matt Gel Medium). There is generous depth to the shrines, you can see I managed to prop a mini canvas with easel into the shadowbox.
Many new(ish) products appear on this shrine, the full list can be seen HERE.
All details including more photos can be viewed at the That’s crafty blog.
Thank you for your visit.

This Sunday, over at the That’s Crafty Blog, I am sharing this project. The substrate is a That’s Crafty mdf tag, which I haven’t used for a while and any time I do work with one, always reminds me how fabulous a substrate they are.
When I first spied the new PaperArtsy Eclectica ELB (Lin Brown), I knew they would be stamps I would reach for time and again. Actually this project is some of my favourite things – That’s Crafty substrate, Infusions, stamping onto fabric, utilising scraps, texture.
If you are interested, further details can be viewed HERE.
Many thanks for your visit, especially when it is only 24hrs since I last posted here.

Recently, for That’s Crafty blog posts, I have been sharing many Uprights so I thought I would dip into their earlier substrates and decided to work with one of the white/greyboard hearts, which were, along with the MDF hearts, great favourites of mine so long overdue to have a play again.
The focal is one of the beautiful new PaperArtsy Eclectica LPC stamps.

Many thanks for your visit and also, thank you to my lovely friend Dorthe because she gifted to me that pretty sheer fabric with floral details.

Well, today’s post is in sharp contrast to the ice cream colours of the paper dolls I shared this past week, today we are firmly in distressed, aged, heavy on the texture type of mode!
This is a That’s Crafty Arch Upright which was made as a sample for one of their recent HOCHANDA shows. The regularity of me sharing Uprights is testament to how much I love to work with them. This is a full size Upright which is an incredibly generous size.

Over at the That’s Crafty Blog, I am sharing a sample recently made for their HOCHANDA appearance.
I genuinely love the That’s Crafty Uprights and this was my first play with the Decorative Top, this is a full size Upright, not a Dinky.
Lots of texture on this, in fact I realised when drafting this post, this Upright is a combination of many favourites of mine:- That’s Crafty Upright, Infusions, Relics & Artifacts, staining fabric and papers, stamping onto fabric and creating texture.
More details, including extra photographs can be viewed HERE.
Read into this blog post title, whatever you may!
Thank you so much for your visit.

I never seem to tire of PaperArtsy’s Lynne Perrella designed stamps.
This week for my That’s Crafty post, I worked on a Dinky Upright (which I love) and incorporated fragments of mop up/under papers. Other than the Upright, this assemblage comprises scraps, even the tangle of fibres!
All details and more photographs, can be viewed HERE.
If you are a fan of PaperArtsy and in particular the Lynne Perrella designed collections, then you might want to know that it will not be too long a wait before new stamps are released!
Thanks so much for taking the time and trouble to stop by.

PaperArtsy Everything Art stamps have been a bit of a revelation for me. Like many of you, of course I was drawn to them but never imagined I would ink them up as often as I have been doing. The paint tube with the word courage, it seemed appropriate to include it in this project for my first post of the New Year for That’s Crafty.
When I made this, I never gave thought to the fact that it was this week that Wanderlust 2017 kicked off !
What courage will you seek in 2017 with your art?
