Relics & Artifacts with That’s Crafty … A Collaboration

Hello
The collaboration between Relics & Artifacts and That’s Crafty is very special indeed, viewing the inspirational artwork of established artists as they combine R&As with That’s Crafty surfaces/stencils, etc.  It’s a thrill to be a participant of the collaboration with two projects, Sandra and her Ambassadors and Laura, requested I make a project for both of them.
Today, I am sharing my first project at the Muse.  When I was working on this project, I paused because it was a significant moment for me.  Here I happened to be, working on a project with products from two companies, whose products I genuinely adore and believe in and have been combining for a wee while now.  Add to that, I was inking up one of my stamp Affirmations.  For someone who stumbled into stamping, purely looking for another hobby, I could never have imagined where that stumble would lead to.

The complete project, with inspiration can be seen here, at the Muse.

Thank You to those of you who are visiting the two daily blog posts and remember, there are two prizes available.

Her Artful Heart – TC16april

Hello
Last week, over at That’s Crafty, I said I would be sharing Part II of my journal but due to Gremlins, it is this post I am sharing instead.
This project features one of the Character Constructions stamps available from That’s Crafty, Inner Child No. 5.   The heart paper doll is the largest stamp from the set but I also included some of the other stamps.
That’s Crafty are the only U.K. stockists of Character Constructions stamps, stocking selected stamps.  If you are interested in any Character Constructions stamps that do not appear on the That’s Crafty website,  Laura Holland will welcome your enquiries.  To view the complete catalogue of Character Constructions stamps, visit HERE.
All details for this project can be viewed HERE.

Art Girl

Hello
I am sure you can relate, I do not like anything going to waste, so when I had some of the frame elements, left over from creating shrine samples for That’s Crafty, I laid them aside knowing I could continue the fun later.
With That’s Crafty now re-stocking, selected Character Constructions stamps, I thought it would be fun to play with some of the Paris Flea stamps and give this art girl a cosy home.  I’ve played with Paris Flea many times since receiving the collection last year, it is fun to mix ‘n’ match and bring life to the paper dolls with your imagination.

All details of this project can be seen HERE, including specific stamps and how I formed the paper doll element.  I also sneaked in one of my Affirmations!  I still have more to write about the Affirmations but have to say, heartfelt thanks for the reaction, I never imagined I would ever have stamps and then to have them so warmly received, it has been overwhelming.

Dream Art

Hello
Today, at the That’s Crafty Blog,  I am sharing another Stitches sample, this time working with a frame from one of the new That’s Crafty Surfaces shrines. This frame is from a large shrine but if you were to purchase a shrine, you receive a frame plus shadowbox – I received extra frames to play around with which is why I decided to use it in this way.
