A Time of Celebration

In the same week that I discovered my fabric collage was published in Somerset Studio I also received in the mail The Stampers’ Sampler Catch-up, although I had been tipped off  from some of my lovely friends! To have artwork published in any Stampington & co publication is such an honour for me but there is also the privilege of having my artwork side by side with people whose artwork I admire:-  Debbie Kaste, Lynn Stevens, Gerri Herbst,  Karen McAlpine (who is on The Stampsmith DT with me), Lindsay Weirich add to that Shar and Ali from Gingersnap Creations, I know you will all agree, an incredibly talented group of women.
I was thrilled to have 7 pieces of artwork published. In this post I am sharing 2 cards both of which have a vintage bridal theme. On both cards I used textured wallpaper. It was lovely that they noted this by printing it in the form of a “Tip”.All stamps are from Oxford Impressions’ beautiful “Beloved” set.Tulle, lace and flowers adorn the cards.
At some later stage I might well share the other pieces that were published but I have to tell you, I have a backlog of artwork to share with you, some pieces made as far back as the beginning of this year. Each week I say to myself, I must post this and that on my Blog and try to squeeze in the older projects but the week passes in the blink of an eye. Lynne x

Congrats and yes please share! I live where I don’t get to see all the issues. I do frequent the city and get my soul filled, every other month. So I sometimes miss an issue. I am trying to convince my local book store to have a few issues on hand. So far, so good!

These are stunning and romantic; so evoke the mood of the season~
