Our first challenge for 2012 is underway at The Stampsmith Challenge.  It is always lovely to be the host of a challenge and as I love to create tags the theme I am hosting is Tag Art. You can make any shape of tag, an individual tag or a tag added to a card but make the tag the main element and please remember that your artwork must include at least one Stampsmith stamp.
My DT piece started out with the intention of only making a tag but as I was working away and at the same time I was keeping in mind the need to make a birthday card for a friend, I decided I would add the completed tag to a card.
It is the first time I’ve used this beautiful stamp which comes from the  Won’t You Be My Honey plateLayering up different pieces of lace, etc onto a manilla tag, topping with this beautiful image prior to adding to a card layered with sheet music and other bits ‘n’ pieces.So why not join the Tag Art challenge.
